Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
This role involves determining material specifications, developing and maintaining supply chain schedules, collaborating with internal departments, and fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Identify material requirements and generate accurate purchase orders to support project schedules.
  • Ensure all materials meet established specifications, quality standards, and cost-efficiency goals.
  • Maintain a consistent and adequate supply of materials to align with construction timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate production goals, timelines, and vendor payments.
  • Monitor production volumes, analyze demand patterns, and track purchasing trends to optimize inventory planning.
  • Schedule and oversee the timely supply and delivery of materials and products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Manage inventory issues, including discrepancies, schedule adjustments, and order cancellations.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and performance reports to support decision-making and budgeting.
The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and material management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce is a plus.
