Gateway Fiber is seeking an outstanding individual to fill our Construction Administrator role. Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
Gateway is hiring a Construction Administrator to use their organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to support construction operations in pursuit of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Construction Administrator is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:
· Track construction progress compared to established build plans.
· Manage weekly construction billings/invoicing utilizing the Collector reporting process.
· Manage damage claim billing - gather, research, and analyze data to identify and bill at-fault parties for damage sustained to Gateway Fiber facilities.
· Communicate with damagers: answering requests for back up documentation and responding to denials.
· Track payments for damage claims and follow up on unpaid claims.
· Manage customer construction issues or inquiries to resolution using the current ticketing system.
· Support Construction team with project close-outs and other special projects.
The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:
· Minimum of four (4) years of experience or combination of associate/technical degree and at least two (2) years of experience; preferred work history with a construction firm.
· Detail orientated with an eye for data discrepancies.
· Proven ability to interact and effectively communicate with all members of the organization and outside partners.
· Self-starter with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability for accurate and timely follow-up.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
· The desire to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial organization.
· Ability to sit, stand, or any combination of the two for prolonged periods of time.
