Gateway Fiber is seeking an outstanding individual to fill our Direct Sales Representative role. Gateway is creating a leading, national fiber-to-the-home platform. With the support of its financial sponsor CBRE Investment Management, Gateway plans to reach 500,000 homes and businesses with its service over the next several years. Gateway provides faster, more reliable internet with a simple pricing model and industry-leading customer service.

Expected Outcomes and Requirements:
Gateway is hiring a Direct Sales Representative to drive commercial customer acquisition while being the external face of Gateway Fiber in support of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Direct Sales Representative is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:
- Meet or exceed sales goals using consultative sales approach.
- Follow a successful person to person sales pitch with the goal of closing the sale and registering the order within our internal systems.
- Proactively identify business account prospects and build robust lead funnel.
- Consult with prospect customers about their needs, present fiber-based broadband solutions, and emphasize product value and benefits.
- Update and maintain CRM database and opportunity funnel daily.
- Work closely with our marketing team to nurture leads.
- Coordinate Gateway Fiber hosted marketing and sales events to increase awareness for Gateway Fiber and grow our market share.
- Monitor competition and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.

- Must be a self-starter who can work independently and work well within a group.
- Must have energetic, friendly, and collaborative demeanor.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong presentation skills and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
- Have a successful sales background preferably in outside sales.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle many projects at once in a dynamic, early-stage company.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Door knocking experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
